The warranty on any product supplied by the Decorative Lighting Company is subject to the product being installed and operated in conditions compliant with the IP (International Protection) rating of the product. 

Note some products have different IP ratings for separate components. The customer is responsible for enduring each component is operated in conditions suitable to the rating of that component. 

The Decorative Lighting Company will warrant the product for a period of 12 (twelve) months (from the date of purchase) against total failure. In the event of a light string failing, the Decorative Lighting Company will replace the strings (or the entire product) free of charge, upon the receipt of the failed product at our business office. The replacement of the failed product does not include any de-installation or installation work or any equipment hire that may be required. 

The Decorative lighting Company is not responsible for electrical work or electrical devices that are associated with electricity supply to light strings.

 

Note any warranty-compliant failure is defined as a failure relating to a manufacturing fault or material breakdown due to a manufacturing error. The warranty does not cover damage or failure cause by any of the following: 

• Vandalism 
• Self-repairs by client 
• Extreme weather conditions, force majeure or act of god
• Damage to (or uncharacteristic movement of) the tree, building or structure on which the product is installed. 
• Vehicle collision or any outside agency striking the product

Note full replacement applies on all light bulbs and/or LEDs failing on a light string. This warranty does not cover products with 20% or less of the total bulbs or LEDs not emitting light.
