DELIVERY POLICY

Full payment, or confirmation of a payment is required before an order will be prepared and dispatched by Decorative Lighting Company.

All Decorative Lighting Company orders are subject to product availability. If an item is not in stock at the time you place your order, we will notify you and refund you the total amount of your order, using the original method of payment.

Our preferred freight provider is Star Track Couriers which will deliver to businesses or residential addresses – Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm.

Our opening hours are as follows:

Monday to Friday – 8.30AM – 4.30PM

Saturday 9.30 – 1.30

Closed Sundays

Decorative Lighting Company also utilises Australia Post for rural addresses & DHL for international customers.

Decorative Lighting Company does not offer a Saturday or Sunday delivery option.

Freight & shipping charges will vary depending on the size of an order. A cost will be provided with your order to include packaging and handling costs.

Decorative Lighting Company will email a copy invoice when the order has been prepared for dispatch. You will be able to trace your delivery online with a unique tracking number. This tracking number will be recorded on your copy invoice.

Star Track Couriers require a signature at the time of delivery unless special drop off instructions are given to Decorative Lighting Company. To ensure smooth delivery a business address may offer an easier alternative solution.

Decorative Lighting Company cannot deliver to a P O Box.

*Decorative Lighting Company also offer Star Track airfreight options via 1kg, 3kg, 5kg satchels – delivery times still vary but delivery into main centres can reduce to 1-2 days 

Decorative Lighting Company will dispatch same day on orders received and paid for before 1pm. Orders taken thereafter will dispatch on the following business day (Monday-Friday).

If you are not at the address on the delivery date to sign for the item, a card from the freight company will be left containing the details to contact them and arrange for pick up or re-delivery. Decorative Lighting Company is not liable for any cost relating to re-delivery as a result of the recipient not being at the delivery address on the delivery date.

Customers in remote areas such as Islands, mining camps, rural farms etc may need to collect from the nearest freight depot. Large items take more time please allow 7-10 working days for delivery.

A re-delivery fee will be charged to buyers for items that are undeliverable and/or returned due to incorrect delivery address or unsuccessful delivery. Items will only be delivered during normal business hours (9am to 5pm AEST) on weekdays. Delivery is not available on weekends, public holidays or after business hours.
